Aleksandra Vasovic Facebook Solo Exhibition
I used social network Facebook as virtual exhibiting space and visual elements from social network game FarmVille (which is incorporated in Facebook) to produce my own work of art. This work consists of still images which are composed of floral elements arranged in various decorative forms and an image of a female, dressed in different costumes. This cartoonish image of a female represents myself, it is some kind of my avatar.
This work is made completely and entirely by using network-based visual elements, and at the moment, now, it can be observed exclusively trough network, or web, and of course it belongs to network-based art. But it also could be presented in a real 3D gallery space in the future...
